Our Mission
The Channelview Fire Department (CFD) is a proud institution that has been in existence since 1949. In January of 2012, CFD transitioned from a volunteer organization to fully paid department staffed with over 85 highly motivated career firemen and paramedics. CFD currently has 2 stations. CFD provides emergency services by staffing of: 1 District Chief, 2 Class A Fire Engines (4 personnel each), 1 Ladder Company (4 personnel), 3 Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Ambulances (2 paramedic each), and 1 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Supervisor. Services provided by the Department include:
